The complete Lotus Sutra rendered into Korean and transcribed as seven accordion-fold volumes — the centerpiece of this catalogue. Over some two years the artist wrote more than 130,000 characters at 4–6 mm each, in ink on white paper, in a hand grounded in and reaching beyond the court style; the set is bound in gold-and-silver peony-arabesque brocade with a fitted case.
